Stefanie started her career in real estate by purchasing her first duplex when she was only 25. After quickly experiencing firsthand the benefits of owning houses, she got her real estate license not long after, and began helping others buy their own properties.
She made it a goal to become financially free within 5 years, and strategically began buying property that would best meet that single minded focus. At 30, she had generated enough passive income to "retire," and began living and traveling abroad.
Eventually, Stefanie returned to Asheville again with a renewed vigor for her business. She is currently an active agent who loves working with first time homeowners and experienced investors, and she specializes in finding unique ways to cash flow properties with as little investment as possible. She has a real skill at qualifying amazing tenants, and in 13 years, has not had one eviction! She has most recently ventured into creating more passive income by lending on notes, becoming part of a mobile home park syndication, and investing in crypto mining.
She believes in work-life balance and passionately encourages people to create their own "life by design," true to ourselves and free from pressure or norms from the outside. Stefanie's first priority is her family, her partner and stepdaughter, along with their Arabian horses, dog, and donkey. She loves all animals, horseback riding, being in nature, spiritual studies, traveling, reading, making art, baking, hiking, and being creative.
Katie Ciochetti
Katie grew up in the Little 5 Points area of Atlanta, Ga; however, her Asheville roots run deep. Her great-great grandfather owned and operated a thriving parachute business in Asheville during WWII.
She grew up visiting western North Carolina and longed to live in the mountains. In 1995 that dream was realized when she moved here full time to attend Warren Wilson College. After graduating with a degree in education and a special focus on construction, Katie started investing in Asheville real estate.
After many years of “flipping houses” Katie began combining her teaching skills and construction knowledge to teach people how to invest in real estate.

Collin O'Berry
Collin began his real estate career in 2012 and founded Altamont Property Group in 2015, which has grown to include 12 people including agents and office staff.
The team closed 160 units in 2021 totaling nearly $70 million in sales volume. For real estate investments, Collin co-owns and manages 22 long-term rental units in Western NC, South Carolina, Colorado, and Montana, along with an Airbnb in Incline Village NV.
Aside from real estate brokerage and investment, Collin is a Founder and Managing Partner of Pilot Cove, a hospitality development on 142 acres bordering Pisgah National Forest in Brevard NC. Pilot Cove currently has 20 lodging units with plans to scale to 55 units over time, plus plans to develop a 70 unit campground are in the works.
Collin is also a Managing Partner of USA Raft Adventure Resort in Erwin TN, an outdoor recreation resort on the banks of the Nolichucky River that has been repurposed to include 28 glamping units and a campground.
